1. PRANAMASANA( THE PRAYER POSE)

2. ASHWA SANCHALANASANA ( EQUASTRAIN POSE )

ForSurya Namaskar, it is necessary that you fill your hands with your ears and pull them upwards.  After this, you bend your arms and neck backwards.  The back of the neck is called the “Vishuddhi Chakra”, which you should focus on.

3. ASTANGA NAMASKARA( EIGHT LIMBED POSE OR CATERPILLAR POSE )

While doing Surya Namaskar, when you are filling your breath, you will have to keep your body parallel to the earth, upright and in a state of prostration.  After this you have to put your knees, chest and forehead on the ground.  In this situation, your focus should be on the “Anahata Chakra” and your health should be of utmost speed.

4. BHUJANGASANA ( COBRA POSE )

In this posture of Surya Namaskar, you have to keep your palms on the ground and tilt your head backward while mixing your stomach with the ground.  It is up to you how much you can tilt like the sky.

5. HASTA UTTANASANA ( RAISED ARMS POSE)

In this posture, you have to stand and keep both your hands straight above the head.  Now you have to move both your hands backwards in the state of salvation and slowly bend towards the waist.  During this time you will feel as if a crescent position has formed.  It is also known as ArdhaChandrasana.

6. ADHO MUKHA SVANASANA ( DOWNWARD FACING DOG POSE )

When you practice it, you should keep your feet straight on the ground.  After this, raise your hips comfortably.  When you exhale, you have to keep your shoulders straight and your head in.  It looks like a mountain in view, due to which it is also called Parvatasana.

7. PADAHASTASANA ( HAND UNDER FOOT POSE)

In this posture, you have to give up your breath slowly.  After that, while bending forward, touch the toes with your hands.  At this time you have to keep in mind that your head should be joined to the knees.

8. DANDASANA ( STAFF POSE )

In all the situations of Surya NamaskarDandasana is a situation in which you have to keep both your hands and feet in a straight line while exhaling.  After this, you have to come to the push-up position and exercise.
